Object of the Month

Greetings,
In August, I spent a week with my daughter Kate in a community in San Salvador.The community, Maria Madres, started in the 1980's to serve orphans and widows displace by the country's civil war. Now it has a school, health clinic, eye and dentist clinics, adult ed, senior center. The people have great strength and purpose. I was able to spend several afternoons embroidering with some of the older women. It was wonderful. Here is a picture of one of the women with her work.Margaret
